Cast Handstand
1 of the 4 basic families to women’s uneven bars along with the in-bar circles, giants (all grips), dismount (front & back)
Technique:
Hollow chest with flat hips, head neutral: The initial kick from under the bar generates the force for a straight body cast HS. The kick stops to change force into the hands and the athlete pushes down on the bar to open/extend the shoulders to handstand while remaining hollow in the chest with flat hips.
